Dallas W. Jolley is a graduate of Brigham Young University and The University of Puget Sound School of Law, which is now known as Seattle University School of Law. He brings his own unique expertise and experience to the practice of estate planning, having been a regional vice president of a Boston financial services firm before he attended law school. Mr. Jolley is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys, and the Esperti Institute as an Advanced Wealth-Strategist Planner.Mr. Jolley has practiced law since 1993, mainly in the areas of Bankruptcy and Advanced Estate Planning. He has helped hundreds of individuals and families save their home from foreclosure through Chapter 13 bankruptcies. As a former financial planner, he has helped people get their financial lives in order through proper planning using the bankruptcy code to their advantages.Mr. Jolley dedicates a large amount of time each year improving his own planning skills and improving the planning skills of other professionals. He has been an adjunct professor at City University, where he has taught the following two courses of the Certified Financial Planning curriculum: "Estate Planning and Taxation" and "Insurance and Risk Management." He has also taught three continuing education estate planning courses at Everett Community College and at Bates Technical College. The courses are entitled "Opportunities in Estate Planning for CPAs," "Basic Estate Planning," and "Advanced Estate Planning." As an approved Washington State continuing education provider for insurance professionals, Mr. Jolley sponsors and teaches "The Truth About Estate Planning Workshop," and "The Needs Benefit Approach to Estate Planning." Mr. Jolley has also taught "Estate Planning for Washington State Employees" for the State of Washington Department of Retirement Systems at The University of Washington - Seattle Campus, at Tacoma Community College, and at Olympic College in Bremerton.Mr. Jolley's second language is Danish. As a youth he was Boy Scout and as an adult he has been an assistant scoutmaster and a scout committee chairman. While he loves practicing law, the true love of his life is his wonderful wife. He enjoys golf, snow skiing, and rock climbing.
